There is always something to do during the camping season in Gilbert or in the other nearby Quad Cities of Eveleth, Mountain Iron or Virginia. As we hear of new popular events, we add them to our online calendar below. - October 4-6 Rock Rash (MN4WDA event)
- October 14 - water service will be shut off to campsites for the winter when the last camper is checked out. We will continue to be open for our seasonal/monthly campers only. A water filling station is available at the campground office.
- October 15 - winter storage move-in appointments begin.
- October 31 - seasonal camper move out day. This is the last day for seasonal campers on to be on camground property. Our gates will lock at 3 p.m.
