West Forty RV Park and Campground

A Fresh Start

Our new restroom and shower building is officially open to campers and campground guests 24 hours a day for your convenience. After 3 years of construction, we are thrilled to finally bring you one of the best campground restroom and shower facilities on the Iron Range. Designed with guest convenience and ease of maintenance as our top priorities, this facility is positioned to serve our guests for decades to come.

Women's Restroom

Our women's restroom is complete with 3 individual toilets and a double vanity with mirrors and outlets to help you get ready in the morning. Dual paper towel dispensers for the sinks and two roll toilet paper dispensers in each stall help to ensure you have what you need when you need it. There is always a phone number posted in the restroom for you to text and let us know if something needs service!

Men's Restroom

Our men's restroom is complete with 2 individual toilets, a urinal and a double vanity with mirrors and outlets to help you get ready in the morning. ADA / Family / All-Gender Restroom and Shower

Accessibility is an important concept for us, regardless of if dad needs to take little Suzie to the bathroom, an elderly guest needs a little more space, someone in a wheelchair needs improved access or a guest who is non-binary or trans needs a private restroom and shower, we've built this space for you! Most campgrounds simply aim to meet the codes required by the state for accessibility. We go the extra mile to make sure every camper has what they need. This facility has a large shower with grab bars, ADA compliant sink and toilet and plenty of space to maneuver with mobility assistive devices.

All-Gender Showers

One of the most frustrating things to watch as an owner, is a line of people waiting to take a shower because one gender or the other is in a specifically marked shower. When we designed our new building, it was important to eliminate this issue for guests and allow anyone to use the next available shower with doors that are accessible from the outside of the building. We also heard your comments and added more space for changing, ample hooks for towels and clothing, a wide bench to use while dressing and an outlet for charging phones, etc. And the best part? Plenty of hot water! Behind the scenes, we have dual 80-gallon water tanks to ensure you have a nice hot shower after a long day of riding. We still encourage guests to be considerate of other campers and take short showers so other guests can get in, but we wanted to ensure everyone gets a nice, hot shower, too. Enjoy!
